PROBATE SERVICES
Our team also assist in applying for Probate at the Supreme Court of Victoria, provided there is a valid Will, and you are the nominated Executor. Obtaining a Grant of Probate affirms the validity of the Will and authorises you to distribute the deceased's estate as per the Will.
Post-application, the Grant generally issues within two weeks. However, the entire estate administration may take three to four months, when accounting for asset determination, probate application preparation, asset collection, and beneficiary distribution.
In absence of a valid Will, we aid in applying for Letters of Administration. The legislation outlines the estate's distribution, and the Supreme Court appoints an Administrator for the task.
